First of all, congratulations on the UK release, I am very happy for you and your band….but I am not very happy with the cd released by the new label, maybe their are thing I do not understand but for me, that mixed up of songs cd, is just plain stupid.!!!
The true Nobody’s Tune cd is good enough to stand on its own and later they could have released the first cd Hamel.
I mean what about the great song that they did not pick, how do the new fans get them…..why must they fock out more money for two import cd’s (if they can find them,) just to pay for songs again that they have, just to get the other ones.
I have the first two import cds….Nobody’s Tune I ordered all the way from Japan because of the extra tracks but the sound quality was poor and I was hopping to download the real Nobody’s Tune on itunes for the better sound.
Mr. Hamel if you read this, I hope you have an agreement with this new label(if you have left Dox Records?) that you keep your artistic freedom and they can not tell you what type of songs to sing and so on, because, it may be a bigger label with bigger distribution and so on, but if you lose your artistic freedom as a result, it is just not worth it…puls you may lose the true fans who were their from the start….I say this because of this cd that have put out…..this is is not a good sign…if they knew what they were about, they would know how good the true Nobody’s Tune cd is… and they would have released it in its own right.
Just to let you know, you have a fan all the way in the Caribbean….St. lucia
